Hello all TDA members,
I am not trying to be like everyone else by leaving TDA but I have pretty much the same reason of why I am leaving. My brother and basically everyone on Instinct tells me I have to focus on MLG and Halo: Reach, its a new game and we have to come up with new strategies. We just dropped a member of our team aka ElamiteWarrior for another player named ToTz. After a 3rd place finish at the championship I just kept thinking that we could have done so much better then 3rd place. I also want to start looking for a job so I can help with my mom with bills etc. I know you must be thinking what about your MLG career, yes I'll still be doing MLG but you have to think lets say Instinct and I take 1st at a normal MLG event which is $20,000 and we have to split that between 5 people this is also including the coach. $20,000 divided by 5 equals $4,000, we take $4,500 because players get more then coaches and we give the rest to Towey(our coach) and thats if we even get a 1st place finish. Every couple of months MLG tournaments happen except on the off season which is 6 months with out a MLG tournament so that gives us time to practice with the new game and roster decisions etc. I will try and be on from time to time but I don't know if that will work.
Anyway sorry for going off track but I am real sorry TDA, you guys are one of the best forum community I have ever got to meet and you guys have pure talent in dueling especially DanceJonDance, I can definitely see him winning a lot of real life tournaments. He has the potential. Now with CatGirl I defiantly see you becoming a very good known writer, Ive seen your work on TDA very good stuff. I can see you getting a job on MLGPro.com as a MLG news/interview writer. I am sorry I didn't duel a lot of you guys, I am sorry I didn't show you guys my potential in dueling like you duelist did.
Please everyone small to big, white to pink, to red and black don't let anyone push you around and be yourself. Don't let anyone bring your dreams down. I almost did, I almost let people get inside my head and tell me being a professional gamer is just stupid and I will never make it. Now look at me, I am one of the best Halo gamers in the world. Basically what I am saying is live your life, live your dream and cherish every breath you breathe.
Ladies and Gentlemen its been an honor and a privilege to have been a part of this community with you all for this past year, this is Lunchbox...signing off.
