Since our community is growing at a steady rate the specs of each person's signature now requires regulation. Now before I get booed off the stage, I just want to say that the following rules are enforced for YOUR benefit! Below are some reasons why...
1. Imagine if someone had a signature that was the size of a 800 by 600 desktop wall paper, now said person posts 3 times in the thread... that would take quit awhile for users to scroll to where they want to go, and more importantly we will be forced to stare at their picture for a very long time.
2.Imagine if someone had a HUGE signature megabit wise, because it was a 10 minute video clip. That would seriously slow down the server, and make each page nearly unloadable.
3. Those two are a bit extreme, but this one isn't. The time it takes to load or scroll through these signatures increases in direct relation to the number of users, and as I mentioned above our community is growing. If everyone had say 1 signature and 3 user bars, 2 lines of text and 3 dragons from dragon adopters, the time it would take to load for every user would increase exponentially.
So because of those reasons, I would like for all of us to participate and adhere to the follow regulations.
Rules
1. Signature Number and Size - Maximum of 475 by 175 and 1 Signature per user
2. Text - 2 Lines of Text Max
3. User bars - 2 User bars Max
4. Forum Pets (This includes things like Dragon Adopters) - 1 Max
5. Please keep the contents of your signatures PG13.
Thanks to all for your participation.
Punishment
For the next week, all users who's signatures do not meet the above regulations will be notified via PM. If after another week there is no response from said user, their signatures will be changed by me. Into something so horrible that they will die from pure awesomeness.
You have been warned of the blinding awesomeness of the replacement signature.
Posting your GFX
If you'd like to show off your GFX skills then make a new topic in the following format:
Flodian's work (art, GFX, whatever you want.)
There are certain rules you must follow when posting your GFX.
- You are allowed to double post in your own GFX showcase topic although we'd prefer if you edited your posts.
- Remember that displaying your GFX will enable others to criticize your work so be ready for negative criticism
- If you feel like you need to give negative criticism then make sure to do it in a nice way. Do it so that the person knows you are only trying to help them improve their weaknesses.
- If you just want to criticize to be a jerk we suggest you don't waste your time.
- If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything. If you put someone's work down you will be warned.
