Nice to meet you there Johny, theres northing wrong with beginning form the start, all the more you can grow, nowhere to go but up I'd say.

Read the Sticky topics on game play and try to absorb as many good things as possible, you might wanna start with deck building standards and move up to game play.

A good deck build leads to good game play and strategy set up.

here are a few hints
-make your deck 40 cards
-base your deck on a architype (cards wich have a word like six samurai, blackwing, lightsworn or morphtronics in common) or a special attribute or type
-make your deck count 20 monsters of who atleast 16 can easely be summond and 20 traps/spels

and remember everybody makes mestakens even stardust/Ccapac members
for exp your tester cald resque cat a freaking lv 1 monster but it is actualy a freaking lv 4 monster xD

yeah welcome to tda and listen to najex on the deck building except stay away from blackwings and light sworns there meta decks meta decks r noob decks so stay away from them

true that you cant get much respect from using blackwing, lightsworn and gladiator beast but if he is realy a begginer than winning once in a wile wont hurd (not saying that you cant do that with anyting els but it is the easy way)
