The New Meta Tournament

First topic message reminder :

Shonen Jump will be hosting the 75th edition of their Yu-Gi-Oh tournament this weekend, and for many reasons this tournament is very important. One of these reasons (especially for KCVDS users) is that this tournament is going to be played in the new format and will determine what the new meta is. Of course we can expect to see blackwings there as they've been meta for a while now, but some new decks will definitely make a debut the top sixteen deck lists. X-sabers, flamvell engine decks, gravekeepers, who knows.

This tournament will have no special rules, it will simply be win a match or you're eliminated.

Sign ups will begin right now, and will close next monday... when the top sixteen deck lists are posted. Now here's the catch you guys can either net deck or modify these deck lists or be creative and create a deck that you think can counter the new meta--the decision is yours.

I will be taking as many members as possible, but will only make a competition in multiples of eight (8, 16, 32) so sign up early to make sure you're in because if 18 people sign up then the last two will be subs and won't make the tournament tree in the first round.

Let's see what this new format has in store for us from now until May when The Shining Darkness is released.

Well the meta's been pretty set for a while now. Blackwing, Lightsworn, Machina, and Cat variants are pretty much all the current meta right now. Some other good decks are probably LaDD monarch variants, X-Sabers, and Glads.

Is there a published deck list yet for the championships? I think I know what I'm going to use but still...

so we're using Meta decks? or Deck that would counter meta?
I'm still confused...

any deck you want, choice is yours. Expect to see meta.

I'm in, though I'm in the lowest dorm (due to the fact that the only decks I'm good at are meta's) I'll a bit of a challenge XP

One noobie question.. how can we use proxies ?
And i would suggest Quickdraw Syncron but i didn't do it in time

You use the card above for example if you wanna add three starlight roads then you just add three descending lost stars to your deck. When you activate them their effect will be starlight road's and not descending lost star. Quickdraw synchron is available x]
