Lol i was dueling this one guy and i used Darksoul's effect to get another Darksoul and he said
" Why did you get an Xx-Saber? It says X-Saber "

When adding cards to your hand the text can be written in 2 ways:
Add 1 "X-Saber" monster from your Deck to your hand
This means you can add a monster with "X-Saber" anywhere in its name. X"X-Saber" monsters are included because the X-Saber appears. Because the card states monster, you are free to choose any monster as long as it contains "X-Saber"
Add 1"Dark Magician" from your Deck to your hand.
The difference is that it specifically names the exact monster you get. You cannot add a Dark Magician Girl unless the text is written as the previous example. This specifically named monster is the only monster you can add from your Deck to your hand.
In summary, look at the way its worded and this will indicate what you can and cant get.
