Graphic Drop Offs

Hello everyone and welcome to charity area! I will speak on behalf of many artists and make a bold statement.

We create many piece of art however there are MANY that don't get used and just sits in some hidden corner of the computer and collect cyber dust. In order to save the graphics planet and stop wasting resources I got an awesome plan.

Signatures that are made and are currently UNUSED can be posted here. Members of this academy can browse through the signatures and pick ones they like. After picking they will inform the artist and artist will put their user name (or other text) onto the signature. There will be no set charge for signatures. Members will pay what THEY THINK the signature is worth, essentially out of goodwill, a donation if you will.

Save the Signatures, everyone should have a home!!

I'll start off by some of the signatures that I no longer use.
Any other artist that wants to join me, just post here with your work and code and I'll add you in.

We can use our own Showcases. For example If someone like a work's style, he/she can request a work with that style and ... render.

I totally get what you mean, however the problem with that is not all artists have say 10+ number of art to give away all the time. By putting them in one place (Ill make headings for everyone) it will be much more localized and members don't have to run around looking. But we will see how this goes, if there is just too much art going around then we can split it up.

I believe DJD made a help topic for this.

Go to your Profile. Then click Preferences, and near the end there will be a setting that will say "Always attach my signature" and its set to No by default. Just change it to Yes and press save, and then edit your signature in your Profile > Signature.

It works now.I changed it to Yes after discovering that it doesn't show up but didn't Edit signature.D'oh.
