nomi monsters

lets say you have special summon a nomi monster with the reqired conditions and that monsters is destroied and sent to grave can you then special summon it from the grave with a card eff since it has being summoned before?

By nomi monsters you are referring to monsters with this text:
"This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by..."

Stuff like Dark Armed Dragon, Judgment Dragon etc?

If so then the answer is no. These type of monsters cannot be Special Summoned except by the way written in their text while they exist in your hand.


Semi-Nomi monsters which have this text:

"This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned...".

Differ from Nomi monsters because it requires a condition for initial Special Summoning. After that, since the condition has been met, as long as it remains in your graveyard you do not need to fulfil the condition again. They key is to understand the two different Special Summon texts in order to work out if the monster is summonable from the Graveyard.

Semi-Nomi monsters include: Chaos Sorcerer and Dark Necrofear.

so semi-nomi monsters can be special summoned from the graveyard as long as they have been summoned by the way writen in their text first
