    what does fanon and canon means ? please dun copy and paste from wiki, because i dun understand at all.

    after i check several site, i think i almost understand the meaning, but i need confirmation from you guys

    Canon = official and real story
    Fanon = fan-fiction / non official story

    In Death Note fanfics, Matt and Mello are often a fanon pairing.
