My opponent summon Lyla and use prio. He target my trap card. So I activate another trap card, bottomless trap hole. So the chain will be

    1 - Lyla
    2 - BOTH

BOTH resolve and destroy Lyla. So Lyla still can use her effect ?

Yes, Lyla can still call priority, and after her effect resolves because the turn player has priority your bottomless trap hole will resolve in Lyla being removed from play. Priority comes before anything though so when they call priority and target your bottomless you can then chain bottomless and Lyla will just be removed, but they have to call priority.

    Afaik no.

BTH is Chainlink 2, so BTH will resolve 1st.
Means Lyla cant switch to def position because she isnt on the field anymore and cant use her effect.

Then what is the point of prio? If it's always link 2 that resolves first....
like if you synch out Blackrose and you bottomless it, are you saying that Blackrose can't use the prio on its effect?

The point is that the effects activates AFTER the card is destroyed. Means if BRD is trapped in BTW then he is removed first and then his effect activates without being present on the field.
And Lyla cant switch into defense position since she isnt on the field anymore (this could be a bit wrong because this isnt a cost).

    But
If you activate "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress'" effect and an effect is chained that shifts "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress" into Defense Position or removes it from the field, its effect disappears.

    Overdose.KayKay is correct.

Unfortunately switching Lyla into DEF is not a Priority Cost to activate the effect.

Lyla's effect has 2 parts, switching to DEF and destoying a spell/trap card is one. Milling the deck is another seperate action. Switching to DEF and destroying a spell or trap are both considered to be a single effec so If you call Priority nothing happens as their is no cost for the effect to ensure proper activation.

So when Lyla is Bottomlessed her effect will disappear as she is supposed to switch to DEF and destroy a card, because she cannot switch to DEF as her effect states, the effect disappears.

Remember costs a usualy seperated with a period.

For example if Lyla had her effect written like this switching her to DEF would be a cost:
Once per turn you can select one Spell or Tap card on the field and switch this card to defence position. Destroy the targetted Spell or Trap card.

Oh I thought it was the opposite because one time I was dueling Det told me that that's how it was x: and since he claims to be the rulings expert I went on what he said :[
