chain question

I wanna ask,

i got dust tonardo facedown, and i use my monster to attack my opponent. So can i activate my dust tonardo or give my opponent to response first ? (hope u understand my question)

and second question

I atk my opponent, my opponent activate mirror force, can he chain another card like book of moon without response from me until he finish chain ?

and third question

i have morpling jar face up, i activate book of taiyou target morphling jar face up, and i let my opponent chain, but he dun wan to chain, can i chain another book of moon so the chain will be

BOM > BOT ?

Yes, you may activate dust tornado first. You have Priority to activate it as chain link 1 after declaring attack.

The way this situation would work would be with priority again.

- Player 1 declares an attack
- Player 1 retains Priority but does not wish to activate a card.
- Priority is passed to Player 2.
Chain Link 1: Player 2 activates Mirror Force.
- Priority is passed to Player 1.
Chain Link 2: Player 1 activates Book of Moon.
- Priority is passed to Player 2.
- Player 2 does not wish to activate anymore cards.
- Priority is passed to Player 1.
- Player 1 does not wish to activate anymore cards.

Each time a player plays a card priority is immidiantly passed, you cannot chain to your own card unless your opponent does not wish to respond.

In regard to your third question and following the way the second question works. Yes you can do this. HOWEVER, you cannot activate BoT if there is no face-down monster to switch to face-up attack at activation. Its illegal to play/activate a card if there are no targets for the card before activation.

Thats right. If there is no target you cannot activate the cards effect. Even if there would be a target at resolution. Thats why both Lumina and Zombie Master work they way they do with a monster less graveyard.
