A little question about "Swap Frog" SwapFrogSOVR-EN-C-UE

    here is the question:
swap frog 3rd eff says that you can return, once per turn, a monster you control to your hand and after that to normal summon an additional "frog" monster from your hand this turn. so my question is, if that is possible to return a monster to your hand by its eff and do not normal summon a "frog' monster by its eff (because you dont have a "frog" in hand or just because you dont want to summon it) thanks for those who answer my question...

Yes it is perfectly legal to return a monster and not Normal Summon a frog monster the same turn. Returning a monster allows you to normal summon 1 Extra time but you do not have to.

All of swap rulings are in the advantage of the user (sxcept that if u use bcon on enemy, than you use 3rd eff, your opponent gets his monster back to his hand
