rulling question about Gateway of the Six

Gateway of the Six



now the question is:
gateway is a countinuous spell card and he have a various effects. the question is if those effects can be activated at any time? (included Battle Phase and Damage Step or even End Phase).
For my knowing they can only be activated at Main Phases of the controller player turn, but i just want to be sure...

i guess is during main phase only.

I'm too but i need someone that sure about it cause if not maybe its wrong and it can be used at battle phase as well as at main phases. thanks for sharing your opinion.

You can activate it's effect in Battle Phase, but not in Damage Step I think. But spell cards that change ATK/Def can be activated also in the Damage Step... that's confusing.

You can only use it during main phase 1 or 2.

I get it now...! this card has an ignition effect an because of that it can only activates at main phases unless the card says otherwise.

All effects of Gateway are Ignition effects, thus letting you activate his effects only in your own Main Phase (1/2)
